Jeanne Beck

Jeanne Raffer Beck’s “Parables” is on display at the Ohio Craft Museum’s “Conversations in Fabric”, an exhibition of 30 contemporary quilts that incorporate text, word or language references.

Memories-III-1

Memories III, 151/4” x 25.5”, monoprint, machine quilted

Barbara Murak’s “Memories II” and “Memories III” monoprint quilts have been accepted into the Art in Craft Media 2009 exhibit at the Burchfield-Penney Art Center, running from Sept. 12- January 3, 2010. 

Barbara will also be in the Invitational Exhibit for those artists who have been accepted to 4 or more shows (this is her 6th), that are judged by curators from U.S. Art Museums.

"MARK-Makers"
Nine artists, all New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) MARK Program 2008 Award Recipients, display nine ways of making their marks in oil, sculpture, textile, mezzotint, mixed media, installation, and video.  Participating  artists: Julie Casper Roth, Brendan Cohan, Katarina Holbrook, Gail Kort, Mara Lefebvre, Ingrid Ludt, Rebekah Rice, Denise Saint-Onge, and Gordana Vukovic
