Raylene Marasco, Dyenamix

Raylene, Dyenamix

Dyenamix has been collaborating on a long term project for Guillermo Kuitca. It has been a journey spanning more than a year resulting in one of the pieces (a series of 3, 10ft x 13ft scrim panels, shown above) being featured in his mid-career Retrospective beginning in Miami, traveling to the Walker, the Albright Knox, and ending at the Hirshhorn Museum in DC.

Additionally, Dyenamix printed and Raylene hand painted 25 images that were hand sewn and constructed into a book. This book portion was mentioned in the November issue of W Magazine, sighting Dyenamix as the printers for the "exquisite silk book" based on his drawings.

Dyenamix also printed and painted a Wall Suite comprised of a selection of the book images, at a larger scale and shown framed for the wall.

Check out the November issue of W and look for Dyenamix mention in the article about Guillermo Kuitca. He is truly an artist to watch and Dyenamix is proud to have been able to collaborate with him on these works.

Jeanne Raffer Beck

Jeanne’s piece, “Seeds of Compassion”, has been accepted into Fiberart International 2010.
