Liberty House display window featuring work by Suzanne Punch
This month, Suzanne Punch will be featured in articles in both the SDA Newsletter and in the Silkworm, an international journal for silk painters.
Both articles focus on the relationship between Suzanne and Liberty House, a boutique in Manhattan near Columbia University. This store shows both fine art and hand-painted wearables by Suzanne. Often there is one of her large silk paintings in the window, along with BoHo clothing, local artisan-made jewelry, African carvings, folk art furniture and hand-woven rugs.
Mary Hertert is the author of a monthly column in the SDA Newletter. This month’s article is “Business Bites: Marketing- Two Artists’ Perspective”.
She interviews Nelda Warkentin and Suzanne Punch about how they are getting through this economic downturn. Liberty House integrates fine art with the every day life of the store, for the enrichment of all.
